| Ockbrook & Borrowash to be split from Erewash by boundary commission |
Erewash Lib Dems objected to the changes by the Boundaries Commission on the Westminster Constituency boundaries. This saw Ockbrook and Borrowash join Spondon and West Hallam with Langley Mill and Aldecar. Over 130 Signatures were obtained which means that there will be an enquiry. The Boundary commision stated that although the proposal had merit it stuck by its decision to cut the west parts of the Erewash Borough off into the Mid Derbyshire constituency. Details >> |
